Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZA 34 S Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Remove all securing tapes from the appliance.
Wash inside the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly.
Locate the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room. Ensure that the air openings of the appliance are not obstructed and that the back of the appliance is close to a wall but not touching it.
Adjust the level of the appliance by screwing out the adjustable foot, or feet, at the bottom of the cabinet using your fingers.
Leave the appliance for 2 hours after installation before turning it on to allow the refrigerant to settle.
Let the appliance run for at least two hours on the coldest setting before putting any products inside. Then adjust the thermostat control knob to the normal operating position.
The temperature inside the refrigerator is regulated by a thermostat with 6 temperature positions and one 'OFF' (O) position. Turn the thermostat dial to the required position, usually 3-4.
